This wine began to be produced to commemorate the winery’s 100th anniversary in 1995 in tribute to its founder, Félix Martínez Lacuesta, a man who, through his hard work and study wrote the first pages of the history of the Rioja wine-making region.

Production of this wine is very limited, with a traditional blend of Tempranillo, Mazuelo and Graciano grapes. It is an intense wine in all senses of the word that recalls a modern vision of the great traditions of the Martínez Lacuesta family. It is aged for two years in the barrel, with the fruit imposing itself over the wood to produce a wine with a wonderfully long finish.
