This September they meet in a twinning that unites tradition, culture and wine under the same language. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n<p>Haro and Jerez need no introduction. They are two historic cities, two names that have shaped what we understand today as wine. From the Rioja Alta to the south of Andalusia, each has marked its own style and language that have crossed borders and generations. The first, as the birthplace of Rioja. The second, as the origin of wines that are unique in the world.    <\/p>\n\n<p>This September, the two cities are twinning in a way that goes beyond symbolic toasts. It is about looking at each other face to face, recognising their differences and similarities, and sharing not only wine, but also the culture and art that go with it. For a few days, Haro and Jerez become a common stage for tastings, exhibitions and celebrations that speak of tradition and the future.  <\/p>\n\n<p>In this context, next <strong>5 September<\/strong> at <strong>Bodegas Mart\u00ednez Lacuesta<\/strong> we will open our doors for a very special event. At 12:00 noon there will be a <strong>tasting of Fine Wines from Haro and Jerez<\/strong>, led by <strong>Andrea Llorente, <\/strong>from <strong>Bodegas Mart\u00ednez Lacuesta, <\/strong>and <strong>Sergio Mart\u00ednez<\/strong>, winemaker at <strong>Lustau<\/strong>. A meeting that will allow us to listen to two territories through their wines. Afterwards, we will tour the winery to show two ways of working that represent the most hidden memory of both places: the <strong>System of Soleras and Criaderas de Jerez<\/strong> and the <strong>Manual racking<\/strong> that we have been practising for more than a century in Haro.   <\/p>\n\n<p>The tickets can be purchased for 30 \u20ac by writingto <strong><a>reservas@martinezlacuesta.com<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n<p>On the same day, 5 September, the <strong>Exhibition of artists from Jarraro and Jerez<\/strong> will also be inaugurated, open from Monday to Saturday mornings, linking the twinning also to the language of art.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">More acts in Haro.<\/h2>\n\n<p>The programme in Haro will continue during the <strong>Festivities of the Virgen de la Vega<\/strong>, between 5 and 9 September, with the rocket and the proclamation, the parade of floats, the pilgrimage to the Riscos de Bilibio, the Rosary of Lanterns and the picnic in Fuente del Moro. Several wineries in the city will also host <strong>tastings in partnership<\/strong> with Jerez wineries, reinforcing the oenological dialogue that gives meaning to the whole project. There the brotherhood will beprolonged with new tastings, exhibitions conjunctions, recitals and meetings gastronomic that willreturn to bridge between both cities.
