Our white wine will represent the Designation at all its institutional events throughout the year.<\/p>\n<p><strong>It is a wine that brings together all the expressiveness of a variety<\/strong> that seduces from its unusual and extraordinary origin. 100% Tempranillo blanco que demuestra claramente su pureza, finura y personalidad. A unique wine.<\/p>\n<p>A balanced, expressive and persistent wine that is called to lead a new identity. <strong>Surprising<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>151 wines from 48 wineries<\/strong><br\/>In total, 151 wines from 48 DOCa wineries took part in the blind tasting carried out to select the institutional references. In Rioja there are about 700 ha. <br\/><br\/>It is a variety that allows us to have a lot of waist. You can make young wines to drink within the year, do barrel fermentation or even age them in wood.<br\/><br\/>In our house we have opted for the search for its most varietal component. No wood. It is the only wine of the winery that is not worked at all in wood. It is a wine with which we have gone to the Inox, two\/three months on lees and from there to the bottle.<br\/><br\/>Nowadays, the use of clay, cement, concrete and wood is accepted, but one of the subjects that has not been studied as much in the world of wine is bottle ageing.<br\/><br\/>Both Pepe Hidalgo and \u00c1lvaro Mart\u00ednez, our oenologist and fifth generation of the family, and myself have an obsession with bottle ageing. The bottle is considered as a conductor, a trainer, a coach&#8230; a point of union, the potter who polishes the wines. The magic of the bottle is for me as or more important than the barrel. In fact, you can intervene in the barrel. Once the bottle is corked&#8230; it is the genetics of the wine, the terroir that will bring it forward.<br\/><br\/>We look for the fresh part because when you demand too much of it, it sometimes runs the risk of turning green on the nose. Ours is quite faithful to the varietal concept, with that hint of banana, apple and white fruit. On the palate it is just what we expect.<br\/><br\/>It should be borne in mind that 98% of the genetic identity of Tempranillo Blanco remains the same as that of Tempranillo Tinto. So it has ageing potential, but we prefer to keep it that way, with a touch of freshness, vital and with that little fat, that caress that is very nice, very varietal&#8221;.<\/p>\n\n<hr
