We find it even more surprising that the rest of the wines selected by the critic belong to relatively young or new wineries, with Bodegas Martínez Lacuesta being the only centenary winery (by far) capable of leading what Rivas considers a true ‘revolution in the Rioja Qualified Designation of Origin’.
