The 1st National Artisan Vermouth Competition, organised by the Association of Artisan Vermouths of Spain, has highlighted the quality and tradition of the country’s best vermouths.
In this first edition, held on 10 February at the Centro Riojano in Madrid, a jury made up of renowned sommeliers and oenologists blind-judged the samples presented, awarding prizes to the best wines in different categories.
Among the highlights of the day, Martínez Lacuesta has been awarded the Gold Medal in the category of Artisan Red Vermouth for its Reserva, reaffirming our position as one of the undisputed references in the sector. This recognition highlights the value of a recipe elaborated with care, in which tradition and innovation are combined to offer a vermouth of exceptional quality.
In addition, it has also obtained a Silver Medal for our Limited Edition, a recognition that underlines the versatility and the differential character of its elaborations.
This competition has served to highlight the craftsmanship and authenticity of Spanish vermouth, supporting producers who, like Martínez Lacuesta, continue to strive for excellence in every bottle of vermouth.
